Stillwaters offers comprehensive, start-to-finish telehealth evaluations when clinically appropriate, including:

• Standardized and nonstandardized testing administered via secure telehealth platforms†

• Feedback session to review results, recommendations, and next steps

† Many tests used in telehealth evaluations have been validated for remote administration. In some cases, procedures may differ slightly from traditional in-person formats; any such modifications are conducted in accordance with professional guidelines and are clearly noted in your report.

After your intake session, we’ll determine together whether a fully remote or hybrid format is most appropriate and feasible for your specific needs. We follow Florida Rule 64B19-18.004 standards for telepsychology, including ID verification, environment checks, and procedures to support test integrity. This flexibility allows you to complete your evaluation conveniently from home—or combine remote and in-person sessions when clinically indicated—while maintaining the same level of clinical rigor and personalized care.

What to Expect — Step by Step

1. Intake (Telehealth) – A detailed conversation about your history, concerns, and goals. We determine whether telehealth or a hybrid option is appropriate for testing.
2. Testing Session(s) – Secure assessments completed online or in-person with real-time guidance.
3. Scoring & Integration – Your clinician interprets all data for a cohesive understanding.
4. Feedback & Written Report – Results and recommendations reviewed together via video, with a comprehensive written report.

Quality, Privacy, and Test Security

• ID Verification & Environment Check at each session
• Use of validated, clinically-appropriate assessments (not “screeners”)
• Secure platforms with encrypted transmission
• Open discussion of any limitations affecting validity

Technology Requirements

• Desktop or laptop computer with webcam/microphone (not a phone)
• Phone with camera, capable of video calls (or a second computer with webcam)
• Reliable high-speed internet
• Quiet, private space without interruptions

You will receive a Telehealth Setup Checklist before your appointment to help you prepare. For some testing, you’ll connect to the session on your computer as well as your phone—just by clicking a link. You’ll set your phone up to provide your clinician with a view of your actions during the test, which is a requirement for the remote administration of some tests.

When Telehealth May Not Be Ideal
