Education & Training
Dr. Stephanie Baynes earned her Doctor of Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) from George Fox University in Oregon in 2015 and graduated summa cum laude from Portland State University with honors in psychology.
Throughout her career, Dr. Baynes has specialized in neuropsychological and psychological assessment, completing postdoctoral fellowships in neuropsychology and forensic psychology with experience spanning multiple outpatient and medical settings. She provides comprehensive neuropsychological testing and psychological evaluations for clients throughout Florida, both in person and via telehealth.
Clinical Expertise
Dr. Baynes provides evaluations for individuals across the lifespan—from school-aged children to older adults. Her background includes assessing areas such as attention, executive functioning, memory, learning, and mood, as well as personality and thought disturbances.
She also conducts evaluations for autism spectrum and ADHD, bariatric surgery clearance, and a range of neurological, developmental, and medical conditions.
Whether exploring cognitive changes, clarifying a diagnosis, or better understanding learning or emotional strengths, Dr. Baynes tailors each evaluation to meet the individual’s unique needs and goals.

Dr. Baynes maintains professional membership in the Florida Psychological Association and has completed advanced training in clinical neuroanatomy, behavioral and cognitive neurology, neuroimaging, frontotemporal dementia, schizophrenia, secondary factors in neuropsychological functioning, and many other specialized topics relevant to brain–behavior relationships and psychological assessment.
Personal Background
Outside of her clinical work, Dr. Baynes enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and two sons. She stays active through CrossFit and values quiet moments with family. The name Stillwaters holds deep personal meaning for her, symbolizing restoration, steadiness, and clarity—the same qualities she strives to bring to her clinical work.
